What a ticket includes

A ticket grants you entrance to the event. Taking part in programme items is also included, but the amount of participants or seats available might be limited, and the possibility to take part is not guaranteed. The ticket also includes floor accommodation at the venue(1-2 nights, depending on the ticket), using your own sleeping bag and sleeping pad.

Academic seminar tickets are sold separately. 

Some programme items may have a separate material fee, which must be paid at the venue. Please check our website for more information on specific costs and how to sign up for programme items.

Ticket delivery

E-tickets will be sent to the email address provided by the customer. Take your ticket with you when you come to the event. The ticket will be exchanged for a wristband at the venue. The wristband will allow you entrance to the event for as long as your ticket is valid. The person ordering the tickets does not need to be the same person as the one using it. 

Paying for a ticket

The tickets are paid at purchase and purchases are processed through Paytrail. Tickets must be paid using a Finnish online banking service, a credit card (Visa/Mastercard/American Express) or MobilePay. Tickets can also be purchased at the event venue. Accepted payment methods at the venue are cash or card. 

Ticket types

Entrance tickets grant you entrance to the event. Admission is free for attendees under 7 years and over 65 years of age. Accompanying caretakers or assistants and interpreters are granted access with the attendee. 

Children’s tickets grant entrance to the event for an attendee aged 7 to 12 accompanied by a paying adult . A full priced ticket is needed for attendees over 12 years old. 

Family tickets grant entrance to the event for 2 adults (or persons over 12) and 1-3 children (aged 7-12) for the weekend (Friday to Sunday).

Academic seminar tickets grant access to the academic seminar on Friday and either a Friday or weekend pass to Ropecon depending on ticket type. Academic seminar ticket sale will start later this spring.

One-day tickets  grant you access to the event on that specific day. One-day tickets are not available for purchase in advance but they are sold at the event venue. A one-day ticket can be upgraded to a weekend ticket after purchase. 

Discount ticket prices will be available until June 30th 2022. After this all tickets will be the same price online and at the venue doors. Tickets can be purchased in advance until July 27th 2022. 

Exchanging and canceled tickets

A ticket can be exchanged or canceled for 14 days after the purchase. However, the possibility of exchanging and canceling ends a week before the event. The customer will be reimbursed for the exchanged or canceled tickets excluding the possible cost from the transactions. To exchange or cancel a ticket please contact lipunmyynti@ropecon.fi. The barcode on the ticket will be canceled and the ticket can no longer be used. Exchanging or canceling tickets after the deadline is not possible. 

Event cancellation

In case of event cancellation a purchased ticket is valid for the next year’s event. You can also be reimbursed similarly as for canceled tickets. For reimbursement contact lipunmyynti@ropecon.fi. 

Covid-19 safety

If there are restrictions on events during Ropecon a Covid-19 passport might be required. Please check the current Covid-19 restrictions before the event. 

Terms of payment

Payment Service Provider

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.
